These are from last Summer. The family an dI went out for a Sunday drive north of where I live here in Switzerland. We visited a new area to us, and had a small picnic at lunch.
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I can say that I love my truck. So far, knock on wood, it has served me well. Have put over 30,000 kms on it so far, and will put many more I hop on it to come. Drove to Hungary to visit friends last summer, and did some 4x4ing in the country side there.. Worked very well, and serves all of my needs. I have a Roofrack for it, but only use it for vacations, can't get into my garage with it mounted. I will soon build a false floor for the rear with a drawer to hid all of my kit inside for the truck. I will put BFG on it when I need to change my tires. These standard ones aren't that great cross country, or on snow. I will also need to get myself an Air compressor system. and put a converter inside due to many of the things I carry need electricity. Frig, etc.. also need to mount some fog lights. not having them is crap. Thanks for the welcome everyone.. I have really injoyed driving my 110. It's a dream come true for me to be driving one. I've always seen them on TV growing up in Louisiana. Driven in Africa, and other parts of the world. If it wasn't for this new Puma model I might not yet have one. My wife doesn't really like them, because of the rustic look, and she works for th eUN, and it reminds here of that.. but due to the comfort of the Puma model, She was a bit sold on the idea. I have a Nissan Patrol before, and after two motors exploding due to a defect in all fo the 3GR motors from them, she was more on board for getting this one.. so I can only thank Landrover for making this new model..
Again thanks for h ewarm welcome, and I hope to see you out on th eroad in your Defenders. I might not know that it's you, but Defender owners tend to always give each other a wave. RB 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw Landrovers of Switzerland Club member |
