Brazil 2009 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Fuji White
Parking Brake Dash Light Problem
My parking brake light comes on even when the lever is disengaged.Tried unplugging the switch but it still stays on. Any thoughts?

The light is also the "low fluid level" indicator for the brake reservoir, just check level/wires still connected before panicking

Ours has done it on really steep descents before, maybe the fluid runs away from the sensor Question Question 110 Tdci Double Cab

Mine did it going down hill as said above your pads will be getting warn and the fluid has dropped Thumbs Up

picked this up on the forum recently, my handbrake light flashed when going downhill.

small amount of dot 4 brake fluid in reservoir cured the problem.
