I'm guessing after waiting two years, you're not that keen to sell it??
I hadn't realised quite how hard they are to come by and foolishly didn't snap up one of several I saw on ebay last Autumn... A veritable glut, by all accounts! I've even taken to harassing anyone selling 110 DCs with a rack in place to see if they will sell it separately, but to no avail! Which to my mind a bit silly given how much i'm prepared to pay, as a rack will not add that much to the sale price of a vehicle. If nothing crops up by Easter I'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. |

Your right, I am not selling mine for a while.
I found mine on eBay after a long search, so they do come up. It is worth lookinf at the ones for sale took - there is a DC at the moment with a patriot rack that might be worth chasing. In the end I got a real bargin with mine so good luck with the search 2002 Defender 110 DC |

Sucesss!! Thanks for the heads up Ben, I contacted the seller of the DC on eBay and twisted his arm to sell the rack separately. Collected and fitted today, very chuffed! I've now got a spare pair of nearly new Rhino bars if anyone's interested...

Could you post up a pic of what your Maggi looked like mounted on them please? Cheers, Ross The Scotia Winch Challenge |

Great!
Is it the one that was cut a little for a wheel carrier? If it is could you get me some pictures of where it's been cut, I may have to do the same to mine. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

Ben - This is how the new patriot rack has been adapted to allow for a swing away wheel carrier:
Click image to enlarge Ross - this is the only shot i've got with the Maggi mounted on the Rhino bars. They're the aero ones, with matt black feet and stainless bars. Very solid bits of kit, much better than Thule ones i've had in the past. Click image to enlarge |
