my pups did the same thing, new loom is about £35 and runs from just inside the back panel behind the speaker and is all the wiring for the back door, lock, heated window, brake light etc, easy to fit. i replaced mine then got a piece of thin stainless about 4" square and riveted it to the door panel so when the door is closed it covers the wiring loom/rubber. no more chewing, but then they did start on the rubber matting i`d put in place of the carpet. puppies, you got to love em !!! dont feel too bad i`d only had mine 2 days, but then they where one of the reasons i bought it so i figured they can do what they like in the back, it can always be repaired. LIFE`S TOO SHORT TO DRIVE A BORING VEHICLE

Your dog does this because he is very intelligent and got bored on his own. Give him something to occupy him and play with, like you! Or he could drive and you could sit in the back chewing the cables.

cant have a crate with 3 dogs, puppies chew stuff, thats what they do, doesn`t matter what toys you give em to occupy them we all know they chew what they shouldn`t. nothing that cant be repaired or replaced.
will see if i can post a picture tomorrow. LIFE`S TOO SHORT TO DRIVE A BORING VEHICLE

Buy or build a big crate for 3 dogs, you could divide crate to protect pup from adults if that's a concern. We had 7 in a very large crate in a 110 CSW with all rear seats removed!.

Saved having interior trim removed by the vet!!!.

The wife just got back from the farm and the little sod has had another go at the wires so i will be making a gaurd to cover it,from stainless or alloy depending on what off cuts we have at work then the problem will be solved. As for the cage not for me my older dog would be gutted if i put him in a cage he is a large boxer.
