I know the answer to this but
Can you fit a new clutch without:
Removing the cross member
Removing the bolts that attach the gearbox to the chassis

I didnt think so....Stratstone let see what the 2 week excuse is.

Im not sure if i want them to do it anymore either. It can still rattle when labouring in reverse or first - i havent tried hammering it around in Low for the day. Mike

The service time to do this task is only 4 hours, but it wasnt there for just that, they then sacked 2 workshop technicians and the service manager and i let them keep it.

They didnt fit the new selector in the way described and thats why they wont have done the clutch as some dumb YTS kid didnt think lets fit it properly!

And thats why it was having a new clutch whilst they did the 2 new propshafts and the new selector fitted all at the same time Mike

Then you read this months LRoh magazine, and in the "selected vehicle for sale" pages where they concentrate on one specific vehicle (A TDCi 90 in this case), they (LRoh) that there is no evidence of clutch or gearbox problems on the puma... maybe a few brake vecuum pumps

It's worse than the government, the amount of bullsht that that magazine spits out.... I wonder if they're in Land Rover's pocket, or just want to a$$ lick them all the time....

.... or the magazine is just run by a bunch of numpies? Laughing
