Just registered on Landywatch and sent the owner a PM - may be nothing but worth him following up.

Could very well be, the lot just outside of Yeovil spring to mind but the police refused to go there without armed backup a couple of years ago Camp near us was raided a few months back by about every govt. agency there is - not sure there are any left there now. Bob |

Disgusting.
Us Essex boys should keep our eyes out since quite a lot goes through Tilbury Docks i understand. Straight into containers and out of the EU. My eyes are certainly peeled although i imagine much is pretty covert and discreet. Revolting news yet again |

Saying that, the security is getting better there. My mums dad and brother are lorry drivers who go in and out of there a bit and they are checking a lot more of the containers from small time companies/individual people and companies who hire them out. Jack |

Evenin' all
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for looking out for my bro's land rover it really was his pride and joy. The details that we now know is the land rover was driven away from the driveway (despite having a full steering wheel lock - the ones that advertise cannot be broken!!!), a farm worker spotted the land rover and a VW blue transporter van in a nearby field dumping the contents of the Land Rover. The Farm Worker reported it to the police but he was told it was not suspcious - really at 3.20am in the morning in the middle of nowhere?!!! Two men were seen dumping the gear and they were both dark haired. The Land Rover was distinctive as it was White with a full roof rack and LED headlights, the landywatch site gives the full info, but there is now a £1,000 reward for info leading to the safe return of the vehicle, as it is worth more to him than an insurance cheque! |
