TDCi for the army
Just thought I would let you chaps know that sales figures for LR might be goin up again.

I was down Sailsbury plain last week, and got chatting to some of the guys there who do vehicle trials for the MOD and was telling me all about a few new defenders they have and are trialing- things are looking good, the future's bright Very Happy

I can't wait for them- the Wolfs are getting tired now after over 10 years service.

Very good news. I hope it means that a decent source of Wolves will soon be on the market.

Hmmm, must admit that I personaly wouldn't touch a wolf- I have seen how they have been treated over the past 10 years.

FACT: most of the Wolfs in the Army have had new engines wtihin the past couple of years. I remember countless time as a CFN cruising down the motorway at over 100mph. Nowerdays it isn't the same the chassis, axles and gearboxes are now getting tired and they shake up at about 60!!!

Go back 5-7 years and I would have owned one straight away, but now- the MOD have held on to them for too long- just patching them up till they die completely (then send them to Canada or Belize).

P.S. When you do driver training they teach " Drive it like you stole it"
