Also i had a problem with the back door opening too far and hitting the brake light, so while i'd got the door card off i investigated. i discovered the stop that holds the door is a nogin of rubber, so i cut a bit bigger bit of belting, slotted it in.................................and it works a treat, it now stops the door about an inch away from the light

My Defender diesel conversion still progressing. Fuel system going in as I type!
A couple of electric bits still to do, plus reconnecting the props and cobbling together the exhaust then should be ready to start trying to get the ECU talking to the engine by the end of the week! Then hopefully a weekend of setting up the Compushift and maybe ready to start driving to work in it next Tuesday! The other Defender (his, not mine!) is nice and muddy today after playing at our Club's Driving Day yesterday. I managed to get to the use the freespool on the winch too, which my husband kindly fitted AFTER I'd stopped being his regular winch biatch! |
