Just fitted a momo Nero (350mm). Speedo is fine, I lose a little bit of the tacho but as my wife sits closer she says she can see all of it.

Hi Eutek,
With the right boss (not Mrs E, ) cancelling will not be an issue whatever the size. With respect to instrument visibility it depends on driving position and whether you are prepared to alter position to regain visibility. I am wherever possible a straight-armed driver and with anything smaller than 15" I lost visibility of between 10 and 12 o'clock and 12 and 2 on the tacho and speedo respectively. With certain wheels you also get the choice of 'dished' or ''flat' which can also have a bearing on driving position and visibility. As I did, I would strongly suggest you 'try before you buy' if possible as nobody can decide for you or advise properly as it's a 'personal choice' thing dependant on circumstances.... Not much help sorry! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
