Note the dribbles of clean(ing) water down the rear flaps - highly suspicious  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Grrr! Stuck at home! Happy Birthday for the 1st Jan , though! I really must preview my posts... I thought I had pressed "Quote" on the HF rig fitting - hence the "Which one?" query and the cryptic Morse signature Can't think of a better way to spend New Year / birthday than walking and off-roading in the Lakes; new toy will have to wait a bit , though. The 90 and snowplough wouldn't fit under the tree, so I got the Hayne's manual too. Clever girl. But sloping off in it in Week 1 might lose me a few Brownie points... went out visiting relos again. Played some 'children of Bodom' on the way. God that stereo's useless. It certainly wasn't designed with Finnish melodic death metal (or any other kind of music for that matter) in mind !

Happy New Year everyone.
For Zagato/ZeDefender - it's the end of an old roman road/track to the local common. Stone track BUT it didn't look like that after descending another track via a mud pool to the local village - but the heavy rain washed it clean again. So that was alright. Annual task of getting eighty year old fairly inebriated uncle into, and once home, out of, no-steps-attached Defender. Went quite well this year! Peter

Spent a few hours cleaning, topping up a few areas with wayoyl and carried out a full oil and filter change.
For getting on nearly 10 years old, she really is in great shape. Mechanically perfect and corrosion free. Under the bonnet is probably just as good as when rolled out the factory, Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Just a shame I'm thinking of trying out a Range Rover...
