Engine cut out
My td5 2005 will cut out/ not start and the temp gauge reads maximum even though cold? turning the ignition on/off several times seems to clear the fault.
Any Ideas?

Check small wire connection to starter motor. Remove and clean and replace. Had this on mine when only 500yds from home. Green flag man spent longer writing paperwork than the fix took ! Sounds like a bad connection / earth, but atleast try the starter wire as its easy to do.
