Specing up my 2.4
i am taking delivery of a silver 90XS 2.4 in Jan and selling my TD5 Tomb Raider to a friend.

After the TR the silver Puma looks a little undressed so I have alreasdy specified black chequer plate (i know, I know) and a NAS rear step.

I am probably also going for an A-Frame protection bar, but I have never seen over ovne in Jersey, from photos I have found here, from some angles they look good, from others they look like a bit gawky, I would be grateful for the views of anyone who has one fitted.

I am also considering privacy film for the rear windows I am not sure whether to go for a black film to match the bolt-ons, or get gtey to match the silver paintwork. Either way I will not be going too "Gangsta" on how dark the film will be, Again i would welcome the views of any silver Defender owners.

Can't comment on the A bar..
Chequer plate, mine came with factory fit, though I added a bonnet plate as I walk on the bonnet due to roof rack.

I have all rear windows tinted, as dark as I can get, it just stops people seeing what's in the back.

Mine's very similar - I find the A-Bar useful for parking, e.g. in between Cayennes Q7s, X5s etc. Whistle Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

I fitted a genuine full width soft A - bar on my first Puma but eventually took it off as apart from being a convenient place to drape a couple of spot lamps I decided I preferred a less cluttered look. Never had a problem with metal bars on previous Defenders etc but the plastic one just didn't light my fire. Steve.

Oooh - where do those rubber things around the lights on either side of the A-Bar come from?
I feel a mod coming on... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Rats - really like the look of them. Do you reckon they also fit a non-winch A bar? Wonder if I can find some second-hand...
Many thanks Thumbs Up

The only difference between a winch and non-winch version, is the non, had a lower cross bar, just where the winch sits on the bumper (as per below)

They are about,, Sam had one, but was sold see http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic2269.html also some better pictures California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1
