No wonder world economy is screwed up
If the big orgainisations can not get working internet sites no wonder the world economy is FUBAR!

Online banking system? What a joke! Major banking corporation online banking system is still not working due to technical reason. FFS cant the bankers get anything right? (YES that is a rhetorical question, , yes I do know the answer to that question!)

Royal Mail online price finder? Still experiecining technical difficultiies. These difficulties have lasted THREE weeks!

No wonder why we are FUBAR

What we need is a new form of 'banks' which actually works!

Have had SEVEN attempts to switch money between my accounts at the same bank, same branch and for technical reason they can not carry out my request!

Yes there is money in my account!

I transferred money from one ISA to another in the same bank. Somehow they have decided I can't put in this years allocation. And they do not give a monkeys. We've been with them for ages and kept our money in there despite average interest rates. Muppets. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

The system isn't designed for the benefit of the punters. It's designed to support the 1% who hoard all the wealth and call all the shots via their puppet politicians. The rest of us just have to put up with it Rolling Eyes It still bothers me that cash deposits still "need" time to clear. At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask!

Hear hear!

I have had no end of problems with being charged for my CC, they won't tell me how much I owe, or when by. I rang up this weekend to complain and was told all I can do is ring in each month and ask...I suppose at least they were honest with me. Really wish I knew how to change it to another bank. I suppose they benefit from our lack of understanding and their lack of openness and honesty. 2011 110 USW

What bank you with?? I'm with Nat West. I have several accounts spread all across the S of the UK. All opened at different times depending on where I was serving. I tried to get my local branch to take ownership of all of them. They weren't interested saying it's all computerised so need big issue. I have now opened a business account within Nat West for my new company, and due to the location of my business advisor the account is now in another branch.
My point is I use phone banking and can easily switch funds between all of my accounts and have had no issues in any transaction that I have made.
I think it might be down to the bank you are with 110 D250 SE HT

Guess which bank we want to move from?

Excessive charges, pay standing orders twice, staff knowledge is abysmal. Pest us with phone calls. So called business advisors who change every 6-8 months.

Do I need to go on?

Same here. We don't pay for the service but its still VERY annoying that they gave mucked up but I'm being penalised.

Going to check out Händelsbanken once our bond matures in February.

All our "premier associate" is interested in is trying to flog us pointless products we don't need.

Might leave our business banking with them but our own stash will be going elsewhere. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

Want to guess which bank online banking system was not able to complete a simple transfer between accounts 7 times this weekend due to technical reasons?

Whilst I doubt you'll find any bank that's perfect all of the time, Santander does seem pretty good for business banking on the whole. My wife has been using it for her company for about two years without issue. The only slightly strange aspect is that the business banking is completely separate from the high street operation, which seems to mean that paying in cheques is less straightforward than you'd imagine. Still, for a free service, it serves its' purpose. Darren
