Yup ! Driving like eeedyuts back from a laning trip, hit the kerb on the opposite side of the road, threw him to the left, buried the nose in a wall and rolled over the speed camera !

It does focus the mind when you see a Defender that has gone over

Hence i have had a cage on my current and last Defender

Impressive that the cabin stayed (reasonably) intact - no internal cage? Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

No cage, he did have a bucket seat, which held him in place...you can see the roof just crushed right at the edge of the top of the seat.....

This happened to a mate of mine the day after he had a cage fitted......watching it bounce down Llangollen steps and roll is something I'll never forget Shocked

That's an interesting observation, the photo literally puts a different perspective on the underside and the question of how and what should be protected.

Anyway, I'm also encouraged to put a cage onto the next wagon. My concern would be the slight increase in Centre of Gravity. Any experience of this or other downsides?
