300tdi Alternator pulley...have I got the wrong one?
Hi guys!

1997 300tdi. I'm changing the alternator for AMR4249H. I noticed it didn't have a pulley on it so I bought a std 300tdi pulley from Gwyn Lewis STC3691 and now I've removed the old alternator and the pulleys are different and there is around 5-10mm difference. Have I got the wrong pulley? The old one has no shoulder but the new one has. The old one also weirdly just sits against the metal fins whereas the new one had a shoulder on the shaft it sits onto.

Could someone guide me to the correct parts needed?

Also gwyn lewis including a little washer sellotaped to the invoice which I have no idea where it goes as its tiny (M6 size)

Thanks!!
