All depends on what you intend to use the car for - if going off road then the 20” will be better and even on road give a very compliant ride but the 22” wheels are not so good off road and make the ride a little harsher imho
![]() "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

I'd stick with 20's as well if it were my car... I've just removed a set of 22's off a Disco 5 I bought to replace my Defender, and stuck a spare set of 20s from the Defender on the D5 with GG AT3s...
But having said that I run 22s on my RR Velar SVA but very different car to either of the others ![]() |

depends also on the quality of roads. I find the suspension reacts differently on the 22s. If feels more solid, truck like, but not harsh unless you put alot of air. if you have very bumpy roads, the 20s are a better choice to soak up bumps.
you dont want to run the 22s with comfort pressure/ light load either. When I run my 22's ar around 42 front 45 rear, I find that the sweet spot for the type of roads in my area. |

Thanks for all the comments.
Roads are not that good round my way. This will be on road use only. I have a wrangler for the heavy stuff! (at least that is my intent). For 20" what is the largest knobbly tyre I can go with? I'm thinking Nito Grapplers or something similar. Thanks. |
