Fog light replacement help
Hi everyone

I'm new to the group! I have a Defender 90 X-Dynamic HSE D250.

Someone damaged by car in a car park and cracked my rear passenger-side fog light on the lower bumper. I’ve sourced an OEM replacement unit. Part number 453123465

I thought it was a simple removal and install - basically pop off the original and pop in the new one. However, it doesn’t just pop off, and I think it’s screwed in, meaning I need to access it some other way. Hopefully through the wheel arch cover, rather than removing the bumper (beyond my skill set!).

I can’t find any install information anywhere online. I really don’t want to go to the dealer!

Does anyone have any idea how to do this? Has anyone done this?

Thank you so much for your help.

Both hunters prestige and powerfuluk have videos on youtube that highlight what you are looking for. Not an endorsement for their products, strictly some great videos for how to’s. Hope this helps.

Removing the rear bumper assembly is not that difficult, if you follow the instructions on the video mentioned above.

As I remember, a fiddly job with lots of small screws, but achievable.

I was fitting 'strengthen bumper quarters' and decided to fit double stacked rear fogs, as the fog lamp is also a rear reflector and felt LR didn't make that reflector big enough (like most manufactures these days)
See and be seen.
