I little while ago I noticed the vehicle sometimes wouldn’t charge overnight on the schedule charge (Hypervolt, Octopus but not IO). I checked that the car was set to plug and charge and the schedule on the Hypervolt was correct. The problem was intermittent which made me feel the issue wasn’t with the scheduling.
More recently it’s become an issue every night and with some experimentation I think the problem may be when the car/battery is cold. The reason I’m suspecting this is if I plug it in for immediate charging after I’ve been driving it charges. I did this and then after a couple of minutes charging, changed it from plug and charge to scheduled for 10 minutes and it worked (I intentionally did not charge it to full). However that night it did not charge on schedule despite the fact that the cable had not been unplugged nor the car unlocked-it was in exactly the same state, the only difference being the car was by that point cold.
Has anyone come across anything similar or have any other suggestions before I take it to the service centre?
