I thought the Octa was a bonkers version of the standard defender. As the G wagon G63 is to the standard G-Wagon.
However the more I read and more I watch tested Octa the more I love it!
Instead of reducing the ability to go off road adding cladding like the G wagon, Land Rover made a Bowler version more capable off road adding as well idraulic dampers to the air bagged coils. With max speed 100mph with all terrain tyres!!!
The adaptive suspension together with Idraulic dampers give the Octa extra capability on road as well.
Not just a silly G wagon style but a real machine to drive and have fun with.
I want one now!

Normal they are covered in protective foil all over.

Unless these are 'mules' and not customers orders.

They are in no way customer cars and are mules with some going to be disassembled for study and the remainder all meeting the crusher, as has been done with past models.

There has been at least one customer delivery in the US, occurring last Saturday I believe.

A couple of others are on their way from the port to the dealers.
