IIRC, it’s the same size thread as the HT fixings on the drive flanges.

Thanks Custom90, will give try an old bolt from the drive flange. Its minus 4 at the moment where I live, so maybe later on this weekend when it warms up

7/16" BSW (British Standard Whitworth) - 14tpi. Who would not have guessed that !
Don’t you just love our vehicles, a mixture of BSW, UNF (probably a UNC somewhere), and Metric in corse and fine. With even the fine in two varieties. Plus the Bolt heads can be non standard for the bolt size. I guess that’s what happens when a vehicle evolves between 1948 and 2016. ![]() |
