TPMS help please
I have a 2024 D300 90 Hardtop with 20 inch 5098 alloys - VIN is SALEACAW7R23474XX

I'm in the process of changing the wheels for 22's. I'm going to keep the old wheels as spares so can't pillage the TPMS sensors off the old wheels.

Would the correct TPMS sensors to buy for the new rims be LR156918? Any pointers would be great.

I've bought 9 x 22 wheels with at ET19 and will be running 275 / 45 / 22 Continental Conti Cross Contact RX tyres. I was going to fit 285 / 45 / 22 but the slightly lower circumference for the 275s could be the difference between rubbing and not rubbing at full lock - if the ET was 10 or so higher I'd have been more relaxed about giving the 285s a go.

Advanced Factors sell them and probably a lot cheaper than LR Genuine MY25 90 D350 X-Dynamic HSE in Silicon Silver and coil sprung
1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie"
Many Range Rovers and Land Rovers over the years 😂
1949 80" - still in family since 1975

Hi Dr

Thanks for the heads up on Advanced Factors. I'll see what they say would be the right ones

I can also recommend carpartsstore.co.uk. They provided me with 4 TPMS sensors for my off-road wheels/tyres. Easy to contact and price is around £22 per unit.

Thanks! I did find that I needed to take the Defender for a decent drive before the new TPMS sensors were picked up, so just be aware of this if they don't work straight out of the box!

Hi TC909

I haven't fitted the new wheels as yet I'm afraid, I had tyres installed on the 'new' rims back in early Feb along with coded TPMS sensors from car parts store and then put the wheels in the garage with the intention of swapping them onto the vehicle that weekend.

BUT - I've been flattened with chronic vertigo / dizziness for the last few weeks so I'll need to wait until I can get that to go off before putting them on.

Car parts store were mega helpful so I'd give them a thumbs up.

l've changed my wheels twice having bought new take off sets off Ebay. After fitting the wheels the sensors always come online after a short drive.

lnitially the vehicle shows the last known readings from the wheels you took off. lf it's doesn't detect any sensors you'll eventually get the "no data" screen.
