I'd just use the remote app to pre-condition the cabin. Ut stays on for a maximum of 30 minutes, but you can just fire it up again. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐒 𝐏𝟑𝟎𝟎 (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)

I can't remote start mine again after the 30 minutes is up, unless I do a normal start. If I stop it with, say, 10 minutes left, I can remote start it a second time for 10 minutes max. |

There has to be a CCF that you can modify to extend or remove this function.

It only lets you fire it up remotely once. One of my many issues with LR remote start. Take any most GM vehicles like Escalade, Yukon, etc. With those vehicles when you push the start button and continue to hold it, after a few seconds a message is displayed stating auto-shutdown is disable. Not only will the vehicle idle until it runs out of fuel but you can also exit the vehicle and lock it with your key fob. The other cool feature is you can kit a button on your way out that turns off the interior motion sensor, so your pups not only remain cool or warm but they are secured in the alarmed vehicle with not worry of a motion sensor going off. @cincyrovers you've stated you have contacts at JLR engineering. They really need to up their remote start game. I'd be happy to chat with someone one day about all of the easy features that are a short software programming time away. |
