Easily accessible ones are the MAP & MAF to start with.

Leave them alone buy extras and keep them in the car, changing them all out is asking for trouble in my humble opinion.

custom90, thank you!
NicMc, Good suggestion. My current ones seem to be still OK (just jinxed myself) and keep the new ones as spares as you recommended. Will just clean out the existing ones for now. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy |

As Nick mentioned, I’d leave alone the others, but the ones I mentioned, it can pay replace them if they are very old.
If they aren’t, a clean will be fine. Mine were old, very junked up so I replaced them rather than clean due to the age of them but bi annual cleaning is fine. The other sensors, they are best left alone unless they fail. If they did you’d soon know. ![]() ![]() ⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 Last edited by custom90 on 13th Feb 2025 5:59pm. Edited 1 time in total |

HardCharger, is yours a 2.4 or 2.2. I ask as the range of sensors are different.

You are thinking about storing some spares. What about the others ? ECU ? Injectors ? EGR ? DPF ? VCV ? AS10 unit ? ... |
