Yeah that’s how it should be, it’s decent enough. I use because I get the full map on the dash, can use Apple Maps but I’d prefer google maps. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Have a play around in the settings and you'll see options for 3D buildings, POIs, satellite views etc.
I really like the build in nav and use it full-time; the traffic and live info seems as good as any other system around London It probably looks better on the larger screen though Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

You should be able to get to “Satellite View” within the options which will replace the beige with actual satellite imaging instead which is much better to look at. 2025MY Defender 90 D250 X-Dynamic HSE | Santorini Black with Black Pack

Satellite view is good but only works if the car has a decent signal.
It’s a good satnav, works well and the graphics are simple, clean and easy to follow. I only use Google Maps more now because I won’t pay the LR subscription for live traffic info etc. |

lightning- your attached image is google maps and not the default pivi pro navigation. Did you change the image, I thought it was pivi pro before?
I've found Apple maps to be better these days and I prefer having the map in the IDD so I can glance down as apposed to across. Plus it shows the junctions with traffic lights. When navigating I have the map zoomed out on the infotainment, and zoomed in on the IDD. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof IG defender_japan "Hulk san" |

Is Waze not popular in the UK? It usually has the best routes and, in countries where it's popular, it's the best warning for speed traps (and other hazards). It's also relatively basic looking, but gives more than enough info for navigation including what lanes to be in etc. And I would quite possibly be without a license without it

The picture in the first page has changed from Pivi map to Google maps via CarPlay.

Waze is used over here but it’s certainly not as popular as Apple Maps or Google Maps. Personally I’ve been happy with the quality of Pivi Pro navigation but my default is Apple Maps which also shows up brilliantly in the digital drivers’ display and is more accurate and better at re-routing than Google Maps based on thousands of miles driving in a previous job! 2025MY Defender 90 D250 X-Dynamic HSE | Santorini Black with Black Pack

I find pivi naviagtion often doesn't update with road closures - especially annoying in big cities with one-way labyrinths.
Google maps is better but sometimes tries to make you take turns you legally cant do. Waze is great for up-to-date info and users feeding back issues - but it feels a bit inaccurate (especially with lane selection). |
