How renew Remote subscription on the App ?
Hi all,

I didn't realise my Remote subscription was expiring, but per the App it says it has. Means I don't have any features to connect to my car now via the App (i.e. heating pre-conditioning).

When I click on the subscriptions link in the App, the only option is to renew the Online Pack with Data Plan, which have done for c. £100 but had made no difference.

Any ideas anyone ?

I would say that it would be worth talking to your local dealer or even JLR customer services.

The frequently asked questions says that it should have started working for you straight away, so there is an issue ‘their’ end I would say.

Alternatively you could delete the app and reinstall it to ensure that you have the up to date version.

You should be able to see all your subscription options on the inControl portal:

https://incontrol.landrover.com

If it doesn't show the option to renew, then as per marcb110's suggestion, perhaps LR Customer Service could help. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S

Mine has expired, but I can still use the LR app, with remote heat/lock etc.

What I have lost is the functions such as live traffic on the sat nav, weather, parking apps on pivi. However I never used them, and use CarPlay instead. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

My Online Pack with Data Plan recently expired, but I never received the renewal email. I reached out to Land Rover Support and requested to open a case to get the renewal link. The representative was very helpful and handled it right away, sending me the renewal link on the spot.

Since I’m located in the United States, my renewal link contained "en_US". However, in your case swapping it with "en_GB" should redirect you to the correct renewal page where you'll see your subscriptions up for renewal and you can add to basket and pay (I tested it and landed on the web page without my VIN entered).

Just replace "en_US" with "en_GB" and where it says "YOUR_VIN" put your actual Defender VIN and see if it works:

If the link still doesn’t work, then call Land Rover Support and tell them you want to open a case to obtain the renewal link for your subscription.
