Reverse Camera Stop & Door Open horizontal lines
Hi All,

On my 2021 defender I still don't have the red stop and orange door open lines, pivi is on 4.2 and I've had (the dealer tells me) the updates to Near Field Sensing model. Is this right? should I have it? I don't have much confidence in the dealer as they have got many many things wrong in the past.

Any thoughts welcome...

MY20.5 with Pivi OS 4.2 and there is no change to my rear camera view either from day dot, no additional rear safety /convenience features as you mention yet another pommie bar steward down under

I believe it won’t apply to older cars so you’ll never get it. I’m not sure you can enable it even if it worked with older cars

My 2022MY P300 HSE has two horizontal lines showing in the reversing camera. A yellow one which I think shows the outer edge of the rear door when opened and a red line which I think is the back edge of the spare wheel.

Yes they all do and move with the wheels

But the 25my has extra lines, door warnings etc

I think that came in 2024

Been around for a while but my 2020 had the latest software and didn’t get it whereas my 25my does Mike
