I thought I would ask, what time in the morning would you all suggest?
I would tend to lean towards either 9 or 10am. So Iโd choose 9am, as time soon moves on, but that also allows for those who come from further away. Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes. CB likely,
I think that a split group with two leaders, might be an option with that. (Because a large group in one convoy might be frowned upon a little, as itโs stipulated in the S-P guidance to try and keep groups smaller). Or alternatively try and keep a fair, but line of sight gap in the middle. I think a gap in the middle might be more practical, otherwise itโs likely to lose track of one another, especially with other traffic around. So we would need at least one or two volunteers with knowledge of the Plains and yet to plot a route in due course. I think the route we took last time around was good, the only thing was, starting a little earlier was what we should have done, so there is more time in the day. I tend to bring along aux fuel (Jerry Can(s), so thatโs one less thing not to have to be bothered with, and window cleaner, and some cloths is a good idea. So then you can clean off plates, lights, glass etc, which is important when for the journey home Bing Maps has a OS Map overlay that can be used that is free: https://www.bing.com/maps/?cp=51.491231%7E...mp;style=s There are many, many routes out there. ![]() Iโm looking forward to it. ![]() Big Brother is Watching.
