(SOLD) 09 plate Defender HT 74k miles 2.4tdci

Attached are photos of 2009 Defender in Keswick Green. A good friend of mine died last year, and his widow has asked me to sell this. He purchased it 3 years ago and I went with him to buy it at the time.
Originally it was a pick up and then in the past a previous owner put the hard top on. 2 years ago it had a new rear door. It has been kept undercover since purchase and for the last year it has been dry stored and unused. This week it has had a new battery and also a new MOT without advisories.
The good side is that the underneath is completely solid inc the rear cross member and has been waxoyled in the past. The negative side is that there are several bodywork dings which were done before he acquired it. Mileage is 74k. It’s basic spec so wind up windows, plastic seats , no air con.
Priced at £15700.00
Location is near Chester .

Just for info, I’ve advertised it elsewhere for £16750.00. So for this forum price is £16500.00. I’d far prefer that it sells to someone here who will look after it!

Its a funny market for Defenders at the moment, with prices all over the place. Not sure if this is just due to the recent Christmas period of if prices are readjusting back to where they should be?

2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Zermatt Silver

I believe this end of the market is absolutely fine. It’s the £30k+ end of the market that’s seeing big readjustments.

The £20k and under seems to be moving quite well, IMO. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Some interest being shown as it’s advertised elsewhere..but nothing concrete so far .

Just to reiterate the chasssis and bulkhead are entirely solid. Engine is just fine. New battery and 12 months mot. New rear door fitted 2 years ago.
