Good topic opened, maybe it is the step for other "newbies" to decide to take the longed-for step, I will be attentive to your concerns and their answers. Thank you Defender 110 SE I6 D250 23MY

Yes, I am an old school car guy. Give me a set of SU carbs to rebuild and not a problem, but this computerized stuff is daunting. I will say with some research, YouTube videos and just following the steps slowly on the GAP tool I was quite proud to have had success. Just not sure about the “multiple step” operations with the GAP tool.

I'm in the same boat. I've had my tool since before New Year, but it's still sat on the coffee table. Not plugged it in or done anything with it. 110 D250 SE HT

You can change multiple values in one operation no problem. Just keep a note of what you’ve changed each time.

I believe the GAP tool stores the original settings so if you mess up, you can just hit "RESTORE" and everything will go back to factory settings.

I've mentioned this in other threads. You can email your complete CCF to yourself. I did this before my first modification, and after every modification since, as well as any time the vehicle is in the shop. A good text compare utility can help you keep track of what has changed.
