Hello
I would be surprised if they use the same dial if the option was not ticked, so it would only move right say for heat and show red dots and not move at all the other way. If it does move the other way for cooled seats, and turns blue, does the cars own A/C work? it may need a re-gas as I think it runs through this. Has he ever noticed the seats get cool? I have the option in mine but cannot remember if it was an additional option or with a Pack, so heated wheel, jets, etc... there is probably a VIN number look up you can see options somewhere |

Is the cooling system similar to the L663 system. So not AC related rather a heated/cooled plate thing that then blows hot or cold depending on the position of the switch.

On Defender the Dial moves both ways but only shows the blue lines if the option was ticked, I’m assuming RR is the same? Were they standard on RR? 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Yes it shows blue dots when turned as far as I'm aware.

Just spoken to the owner of the casr, she says
I get blue dots but they don't turn on but when I twist the dial but the red dot does. So I'm assuming from this the blue dot illuminates but there is now cooling effect. Sounds like she has the option fitted it's just not working
