Looking for my first Defender 90 and would like to know what people think of this car.
I like the spec but am slightly concerned by the age and getting a warranty for it and LR assist. Thank you https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2...mp;fromsra |

I love it although I’d definitely take a closer look into what spec is included and what you really want - personally for me, the X-Dynamic HSE had everything I wanted (and more) and I couldn’t see much extra included in the X model that made it worth paying the extra.
You’d be able to get that engine (or D250/D350) in a car that’s potentially three years younger if you end up with a different trim, that could still be specced with what you need with the reassurance of a newer model and potentially even lower mileage. Just my view of course, the beauty of Defender ownership is that they’re all different and we all like a variety of things! |

Nice car...
Typical Sytner prices..but you will get a coffee! Seriously...you can asked the dealer for extended LR warranty. It's expensive to buy so if you really fancy the car negotiate it into the deal. You can get 1,2,3 years post the original Manufacturers Warranty. Clemmo PS just read full desv=cription they are offering "Minimum of 24 Months Land Rover Warranty" Just check its a D300 thou...As they were not available in 2021. More like D200 or D250. ( Look near VIN inside windscreen) Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow.... Defender 90 HT............Pangea Green BMW X3 Msport............Carbon Black Mini Electric................Grey. (wow!) MGB Roadster……..........Vermillion 17k miles Honda Benly CD200....Maroon --------McLouis Fusio........7.4m of fun |

It’s neither an X or a D300

Well spotted… in which case I’d say it’s way overpriced and for that money you could be getting a car that’s so much newer. In fact, for not much more you could get brand new with a good deal at the dealership!

I saw it a couple of weeks ago when I picked mine up from a service and thought the interior looked a bit tired for the mileage.

Didn’t the X come with orange tow loops as standard? Could’ve been painted black right enough.
EDIT - Checked another reg check and it shows it as a D300 X 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

You could get a brand new one for not much more.
I’ve just ordered a new D350 90 for that reason, you have to wait a few weeks but you can choose the spec you want Used isn’t so cheap but good for owners if resale values are holding up |
