Good afternoon from a lurker!
I’m looking to get a wireless mobile phone dock. Searches show several UK sellers listed at £150 - 200 which appear to be exactly the same as the docks available on AliExpress for less than £100 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007276417029.html The images on one UK site show the back label written in Chinese with no UK manufacturer. Has anyone bought one from AliExpress and has positive/ negative thoughts? I’m sure that they are exactly the same but wanted to see if anyone had experience. Cheers |

It will be exactly the same part as UK suppliers supply, I find it easier to buy from Alliexpress and cut out the middle man and save some money. It's perfectly safe buying from them, the seller doesn't get paid by Alliexpress until you are happy with the order. I've bought quite a bit from them, not all Defender parts, and have only had one or two problems but I've either got a refund straight away or worked with the seller to rectify it

Should have posted a picture, I’m interested in the dock which sits in the void at the front of the central console. At least your set up means that the screens are more visible than the dock. Cheers though |

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge It’s designed and produced by Powerful Uk. Not very well I have to say. Some adjustment is needed to fit the MagSafe. It’s good enough to hold my iPhone 15pro and looks neat. Not cheap though. 30quid the support and 35 the MagSafe. The charger at the top is from Aliexpress, 25quid including the dashboard support. Both serve different scenarios. |
