When I did mine I fitted anti burst series hinges and sold the original ones for quite a bit of money, as they’re rare. I wasn’t bothered about originality ( it was bought for me to modify and was missing quite a lot of parts too ) also I couldn’t find any door cards for them, but got a set of tough plastic ones for a series three to fit nicely. 1983 110 automatic OM606

Okay thanks or your input,
You got a picture of the doorcards? Ive found 3 versions so far. SP4s4 TR253A https://www.sp-4x4.com/ProductDetails.asp?...p;CartID=2 Mud UK MUD-0040 https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/half-door-trim Britpart DA1642 https://www.britpart.com/parts/seats-and-t...ims/da1642 The SP and britpart look the same though. And i've gotten 1 of those with my defender when I bought it. Don't know which one. Just fitted the back doorlock to the RH side to test with this internal handle. Cant get the plate to fit over it without bending a lot, so have to figure that out. (Heard someone removed the top to twist the plate over the handle.) Bodged doorcard RH side. (With old/original lock) Click image to enlarge Also Found in my parts catalog that the reardoor contains an MUC1030 which says Non-Slam |
