Injectors push till click or torque down fixing bolts
Ok.
So on some videos I've seen when re-installing injectors they say push injector in until you hear a click as it seats itself. then put in mounting bolts. Others just put in injector and. mounting hardware.

In the past I've done the push till click method although think ive got old thumbs now and am finding it hard to actually push them in till they click.

Now trying to install injectors in a new AMC head and yup thumbs have died cant apply enough pressure to click them into place.
Putting the mounting bracket and bolt in and tightening up to 32nm certainly. causes injector to go in a bit more .
So which way is the preferred one? do i need to go borrow someone with younger thumbs ?

I recently did mine and the effort to 'click' them didn't seem too great, suggests maybe the washer has moved and is blocking them from going down all the way? Quite a few of the washers moved and / or dropped off as I was fitting the injectors back in and had to take them out / retry until they went in correctly and gave the satisfying click.

hmm ok.
Certainly took them out and checked position of washers and put them back in. torquing down the bolts certainly moved injectors in a lot and. shes running fine.

Having said that all the other times did have the satisfying click when i pushed them in.
certainly staerts and runs fine, just need to get the new injectors coded in now

burt will keep an eye on oil level in c ase it goes up
