So last week we were out and about in the Yeti and I couldn't help but notice a bit of a whooshing sound under acceleration from the passenger side... but it was a bit sort of fluttery too, it really had me a bit worried, I checked all the hoses and they seemed fine, no obvious marks around engine area, thought it might be a join in the exhaust, but still no luck... I'm embarrassed to say a few days past before I checked the backbox...

Oops....

Now it was a great opportunity to go stainless but with a big trip coming up, funds are somewhat allocated, so a £60 Britpart special from brookwells had to do!

Surprisingly the old one unbolted very easily and one of the rubber hangers was split, so it came off easy too, but getting the new one into the hangers was horrific! Laughing but all done just in time to go play in the snow!!!

Dartmoor got very eventful that day/night. Many many cars abandoned, we gave some people lifts, some great defender owners were towing people. Many cars didn't have any towing eyes!!! (Nightmare).
Hadn't seen so many Defenders in one go other than at an event Laughing

One thing that we really enjoyed was our new yellow spotlights. The light bars and white spots were useless in the snow, but the yellows really cut through it all!

There are more pics on Instagram (not a plug, just we both upload onto it and wifey is better at photos than me!) The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html
