ABS / TC lights not showing up by functional ABS system
Hi everyone,

I failed MOT a couple of weeks ago due to the ABS light not showing up during start.

I have a Defender 110 Station Wagon xs, ABS/TC been fitted from factory.

-A few brake tests have shown that the ABS does work.
-All fuses are ok.
-Cluster taken apart, no interference with LEDs, LEDs seem to work when tested with multimeter.
( lights up for a sec. )
- pulled the fuse to cause a fault, no ABS light shown
- disconnected battery to reset the ECU and ABS Modul
- no fault codes shown at all

Any suggestion what the issue could be?

Ps: bought the Defender in Nov. 2023 and can’t recall the ABS light ever showing up.

Cheers,
Michael.

So I'd first check if the handbrake light was still working.

2 / 3 amigos

And if the cables were functional
