[SOLD] Direct 4x4 Rooftrekk3
Putting up for sale my Rooftrekk3 roof top tent
The tent has been used for family camping trips on our trailer over the last few years (purchased May 2021) and has been dry stored through the winter each year.
Located just outside Dunfermline in central Scotland and looking for £600 (retail was £1600). Direct 4x4 still stock an awning room that can be added to the tent. We have previously added an anti-condensation base below the mattress.

Making use of the holidays to get access to an indoor space and not having any plans to use the tent over the holidays I have very recently reproofed the fabric (Fabsil) and resprayed the hardshell (Buzzweld Rubberized tough FC-R) to tidy up the scuffs and scratches. I've also replaced a couple of the worn closing latches and perished rubber ratchets. This was all done with the intention of putting the tent back on the trailer and having many more years of use however......
The kids are now getting older and more independant wanting to Hammock and sleep in their own tents rather than sharing spaces so it feel like this may be the right time to move this on to someone else that will make more use of it. I'm sure I can make use of the roof bars on the trailer to carry an extra couple of kayaks or a canoe when we go away.

What's this like to fold away? Does it take a lot of time and tucking fabric?

Morning,
It's pretty easy. The main tent first folds in half into the hardshell and then there is a little excess material at each end that needs to be tucked in as you pull the hardshell closed.
There isn't a lot of folding and it only takes a couple of minutes once you've done it for the first time
