200/90 exhaust. Before I start, anything tips/points to note
My exhaust has a couple of holes in the downpipe and the demand engineering stainless one has sat on my floor for a couple of weeks. I need to bite the bullet and do it.

I note that the new downpipe has a flexy bit in it.

A quick perusal of the internet suggests the downpipe is a hassle. I haven't done an exhaust on a 200 before and before I get in a pickle (my other car is in bits) I thought I'd ask.

Cheers, stu

I've had a look at it and the original downpipe doesn't have a flexy bit. It's all very snug. It looks like you need to stick it over the crossmember "pipe" first and then sort of turn/wiggle it into position, but it's properly tight, looking at it.
