Collection In Car Electronics Training Session
As I'm due to collect this coming Monday (vehicle having arrived at the dealership this morning), how long did it take for the Sales Executive to take you though how to use the In Car Electronics?

The suggestion when I asked was that I would be there for at least an hour...

Considering i frequently get them to drop the car and just take the keys

It will take as long as you want it to take.

I had the record for the fast handover, that was when i had multiple a year.

I kinda miss the whole in the dealer unveil - but to be honest, prefer to have the car arrive and not wast any more of my time on the most painful process

Especially when im frequently telling dealers how parts work Mike

l was shown how to start the vehicle and that was about it. l didn't even get the luxury of the undercover handover area.
The handover was done outside in the rain.

Hmmm... I've been here before with the J part of JLR.

But - as it doesn't seem to be a requirement that JLR set on their franchises - do feel free to 'name and shame'. It won't get better until someone with very shiny trouser seat bottoms finds their spreadsheets are the wrong colour...

Dealer was hopeless. I got 3 mins top. Best overview I had was on the LR Experience day. That was excellent Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

They did give me a voucher for one of those, and pointed out that the iGuide App gives full instructions.

Collecting your new vehicle from a LR Dealer, is like Christmas.
Expect nothing and if you do get some help, be grateful.
