Definitely rare ,very few Eezions built and fewer survive. I hope it goes to a good home.

I suppose it's just front wheel drive?

Pretty sure they were just front wheel drive.
The AA had a fleet and there were narrower bed ones for carrying cable reels.
Adam Bennet is restoring a series one version.

Yes, front-wheel-drive only with startlingly poor traction and mobility! It wasn't really a successful concept but evolved into the slide-bed recovery vehicles of today.

In the 80s a company just outside of Bedford, would take a Ford Escort Van, cut the rear body off (a brand new vehicle) and add a Eezion back to collect shopping trollies from near by car parks.

My involvement was I bought the van rear ends and built trailers from them. (in my custom car days)

Unimog Eezion built in 1974 for BT as a drum carrier enjoying later life as a forklift transporter.
