Did you speak to Peter at First 4 about the Winch? He seemed very knowledgable and gave me loads of time over the phone and in person when I bought mine. Nick

If it is the Champion winch you want with a bumper try speaking to Chris or Andy at the Electric Winch shop 01274 680744.
If you were not in so much of a rush I might have been able to wangle some discount for you. At that sort of price range I must admit I would have probably gone for a Goldfish rom David Bowyer (01363) 82666 Brendan |

I bought, not fitted yet an 8274 from Peter. It will be used for dragging birch and oak so that I can buck it ready for the splitter. Knowing me though, now that I have one, I will use it for all manner of things I never thought you needed a winch for!! Nick 2.2 110 Tipper |

And another vote for Goodwinch. Very good value for a great product (they're quick too in terms of winching speed.
One tip - seal both ends with RTV, and also the lever. TLoosen the allen bolt in the lever, remove the lever to put the rtv on, then replace. |
