Annoying isn’t it!
Think we get tyres made of cheese because they ride a little better and probably save a bit of fuel. They do handle brilliantly on road though! I swapped mine out for BFG KO2s after taking a chunk out of a tyre on something that really shouldn’t have… The KO2s are a bit overkill but I wanted durability… am interested to see if the KO3s are slightly better behaved on-road once they finally come out! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

The more I hear about LR (and read this Forum), the more I'm glad the UK dealer couldn't even be bothered to get back to me to take my hundred grand!!!! Peter |

l have factory 18" steel wheels with the Wrangler A/T's on my 90 and they have been superb both on and off road.
Had no punctures in 17,000 miles and as a bonus they look a lot better than the Michelin Latitudes. |

Likewise here. 22 k miles on Duratracs, lot of rocky, muddy, slippy off-road and I can fault them. On road, they aren’t stupid noisy, have never slipped or under/over steered (although I’m not a fast driver), and are wearing well. I’d get them again.

In terms of tread, grip and noise I agree they are very good. They are just weak and prone to punctures, and wear out quickly.
I only managed 35k out of mine (including several punctures). Swapped for BFGs which have managed nearly 60k without a single issue. They are noisier though and grip less on wet roads. |

I did 36,000 miles on the LR Wrangler AT. No issues and they had about 4mm on the, when I sold them.
I’ve now got Duratracs on my D4 which I’ve always been impressed with. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy. |
