United Kingdom 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Stornoway Grey
Picture required of CSC setup
I changed the clutch in my 2008 Defender at 120,000 miles in 2016.
I did this by removing the engine and it worked well.
The vehicle has now done over 160,000 miles and I am fitting a new chassis so this time I removed both the engine and gearbox.
I'm fitting a new clutch again but this time as I did more dismantling I cannot see how the flexible clutch hose and the funny shaped metal pipe join to the pipework from the CSC as they are some distance apart.
Clearly I have made some mistake as they were joined together when I dismantled the vehicle last year.
Could somebody point me to a picture, please?
In the meantime I'm going outside with an extension lead and lamp to see if I can work it out myself.

I assume you either figured it out, or died trying. Still, here are some photos, albeit a bit late...

Thank you for the pictures
Yes, I worked it out, thank you.
I did not reply because, with Christmas coming, I am getting a shed load of spam and I failed to see the reply notification which this forum sent to me.

I dismantled my Defender last year (2023) and it would appear that at some point after that I let the gearbox hang on the hose, which straightened the steel pipe so it ended up pointing to the bonnet.
You might be able to make it out in the picture I have just uploaded.

I realised the cause of the problem when I looked at a new hose online.
My garage has since supplied a new Britpart hose and everything fitted OK when I installed it yesterday.
I will hopefully be refitting the engine soon.

The photos were nice and clear.
What did you use to take them?
