Manufacturer vs dealer warranty
Iā€™m due to collect my new 110 in the next week or so. When ordering the car, I enquired about paying now for the warranty for the 4th year, so that I have coverage for the length of the PCP deal. Looking at my invoice, the quote was Ā£650 for Marshall Care Warranty Prestige.

I gather this is significantly cheaper than a LR warranty, as I have seen people pay upwards of Ā£1500 a year for.

My question is has anyone else taken out a 4th year of cover when buying a new car, and if so, did they get a dealership backed warranty or a manufacturer one? I will ask my dealer if there is a difference as well.

Iā€™d go for manufacturer warranty if you can. Much more comprehensive. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Is the warranty only three years in the UK? Here in the US, every Land Rover comes with a 4yr/50k mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. šŸšŸŽšŸšŸ šƒšžšŸšžš§ššžš« šŸšŸšŸŽ š’ ššŸ‘šŸŽšŸŽ (Pangea Green over Acorn/Lunar)

Need to be mindful that you dealership may close in the coming years so worth finding out if their warranty allows you to use another group of dealers that may be closer or would you have to stick with the same dealership group but inconveniently further away.

At least the manufacturers warranty will cover you automatically where ever you may be around the country, holidays, work etc.
