Celebration of the Shipping forecast
On BBC Radio 4 on New Year's Day there will be a two hour programme celebrating 100 years of the shipping forecast. There will also be a drama/documentary on the 1981 Penlee lifeboat disaster.
Thought I'd mention it just incase you have some spare time on New Year's Day. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Have seen a documentary on the Lifeboat disaster on BBC FOUR previously and it’s harrowing to hear some of the radio transmissions, etc…….
