I had quite a bit of the etching, especially after the first trip because my AC was bust so needed to open the windows. It polishes out fairly easily. I did it by hand, but a orbital polisher would do it in no time. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I don't have air con and my windows were down a little at the beginning.. By the time we were done I just kept them closed and put up with the heat... made little difference or was to late.. my back lane at home resembles the Sahara atm with a red brown coating🤣 I suspect my truck will end it's life with Sahara sand and dust still in places that can not be reached.. I'm still in the process of cleaning ..it seems endless🤣 I left the engine running the other day and just ran a hose over everything under the bonnet., and that is just to get the thick of it off..it will be a while before it's anything like it used to be 😫 I'll check my windows but hadn't noticed any etching..maybe because at the minute it seems like the least of me worries 🫣 |
