And even better if it is powered with some of that lovely bio-diesel made from the residue from the local takeaway Laughing

Off Topic McD's say all their lorries run on Diesel produced from their cooking fat. There are companies around that collect waste oil from takeaways to recycle into biofuel. If that was your business, I would be surprised if they didn't use bio-diesel?

So the problem comes that my local chippy changes the oil in their fryers every other month. I know this because they have a gluten free night every month and they can guarantee no gluten at that point has been through the fryer which has been cleaned and the oil changed. I'm sure there is quite a bit of oil in those deep long fryers but, probably not enough to run my truck on if it was a daily driver. This is why Michael O'Leary of Ryanair fame said (and I am paraphrasing) the hope of flying all the planes in the UK on biofuel is a pipe dream because there aren't enough takeaways Laughing I don't care what you think of him, he has a point!
