the arguement i heard was that the oil fields are in the North sea....so rightfully owned by Scotland. This is how he plans to finance the country.

As i said - with a finite, declining, non green resource, that he cannot accurately quantify, but DOES accurately quantify the income he expects to receive from it.

Ignoring the fact that who says it is Scotland's oil. All the development was done by UK companies. He can have it if he buys it.

Sounds a bit like "Land Reform" in Zimbabwe when the white farmers were just kicked out. Look at the country now... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
