They don't.

Yep the standard steps are pretty low, and the new defender is quite “barrel” sided so that the step isn’t really any further out than the centre of the door.
I’ve got rock/tree sliders on mine which do a better job Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
