I have a bad back as well, and couldn't drive for a long time in my 110. I did a lot of research, and made the decision to buy a pair of Scheelmann seats. I know they are eye watering expensive, but they just ticked all the boxes for me. I did a lot of saving and finally got them a few months ago. They are great, and I can now drive for hours without back pain.

Back pain is shocking and limiting, mine is from taking a bit of a battering when I was in the cops, had two ops but its still a bit rubbish. I dont tend to drive miles anyway so couldnt justify spending that on seats. But they do look great!

The Cobra LeMans looks similar but more reasonable price. Made in the UK and they have a specific Defender version plus all the usual options, heated, materials etc.

I think these are both nearer the budget that was described in the first post.

Whether I would trust leaving my truck anywhere unattended with Scheel Mann seats fitted, is the million dollar question but they are a thing of beauty 👍
